Ranked among the freest countries in Asia for press freedom, Taiwan offers a sharp contrast with its neighbor, the People’s Republic of China. Yet media activists and journalists say that all is not well with the Taiwan news media. In this 30-minute audio documentary (which first aired on KPFK) I explore why.
