YouTubing Africa

My article about the images of Africa on YouTube, particularly those generated in Kenya’s most recent presidential election, is out in the latest print issue of Rhodes Journalism Review (this is a link to an earlier online issue).  Produced by  South Africa’s  innovative Rhodes University School of Journalism and Media Studies,  the publication aims to inform both working journalists and media researchers throughout Africa, although anyone wanting to know more about African journalism ought to give it a look.
